The Berkely Barb was weekly underground newspaper, published in Berkely, California, during the years 1965 to 1980. It was one of the first and most influencial of the counterculture newspapers, covering the Civil Rights Movements,as well as social changes advocated by youth culture. Around 1967 the Barb was the first underground newspaper to have an extensive classified section carrying explicit personal sex advetisements. As always folded in the middle.r.
